Woodwind Repair

Woodwind instruments, more than any other instrument, require constant maintenance and repair. We recommend regular yearly adjustments to keep your woodwind in top working condition. These instruments will go out of regulation from normal playing wear or even by sitting unused in a closet. Our woodwind services range from minor adjustments and repairs to complete overhauls. We service all flutes, double reeds, clarinets and saxophones.

Brass Repair

Brass instruments do not require constant adjustment repairs like woodwinds, however, repairs from damage are common. Brass repairs include dent removal, solder work, valve and piston repair,  slide repair, custom modification and chemical cleaning. It is important for all moving parts of a brass instrument to work properly. We also offer instrument restoration- including refinishing.  We service all makes and models of brass instruments.

Percussion Repair

Percussion repair, while not as common as our other repair specialties, is a staple of our business. In addition to repairing and replacing heads and parts, percussion instruments must be properly “set-up” in order to function correctly. At Hill City Music Repair, we offer full percussion repair services and are more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
