Instructors

Ava Nastasi is excited to join the faculty at Hill City Music as a voice instructor. Ava recently graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor of Music in Choral and General Music Education. She currently works as an elementary music teacher. 

As a performer, Ava sings with the Roanoke Opera Chorus and has previously appeared with numerous choral ensembles as well as Miami University’s Opera Theater. During her time at Miami, she student-directed a university choir and served as music director for a pop a cappella group. Her dedication to music education was recently recognized with the Miami University Future Music Educator Award in May 2025.

Ava has experience in classical, choral, pop, musical theater, and jazz styles, and is committed to helping students develop healthy vocal technique to inspire a lifelong love of singing.
