Nakjung Kim is an accomplished guitarist, educator, and worship leader with extensive experience in performance and music instruction across classical, jazz, and contemporary styles. He currently teaches Applied Guitar (and bass) and World Music at Brightpoint Community College. Nakjung earned his graduate degrees in Music and Worship and has dedicated his career to training musicians to integrate technical excellence with artistic and spiritual depth. His teaching approach emphasizes strong foundational technique, creative expression, and a joyful engagement with music that connects both mind and heart. As a performer, Nakjung has arranged and played for various ensembles and recording projects, with a special interest in jazz improvisation, pop fusion, and modern hymn arrangements. His passion is to inspire students to develop their unique musical voice and view music as both art and service.
