Cole Johnson is a saxophonist from Akron, Ohio. He is a recent graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor’s of Music in Commercial Music: Film Scoring. He has been playing saxophone for 15 years, and composing for 10. He has played with many ensembles including the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony, the Liberty University Jazz Ensemble, the LU Wind Symphony, and the LU Marching Band. He was one of last year’s Liberty University Concerto Competition winners and has performed with the Liberty University Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his film music studies, he enjoys composing and arranging for classical ensembles, jazz, marching band, and electronic music. He has taught skiing, been in musical leadership positions throughout school, and loves teaching!
