Visit our Lynchburg store as we host our largest assortment of step-up instruments since 2019 during our Step Up Your Sound week! Our staff will be here to facilitate play tests and help you find that next step instrument you’ve been looking for!
Who: Anyone and everyone looking to upgrade to an intermediate or professional model instrument
What: A week-long event to facilitate the play testing and procurement of step-up band instruments. Click here for an up-to-date list of the instruments that will be available for playtesting and purchase. Quantities are limited so check back before stopping by to see what instruments are available.
When: Monday, April 22nd through Saturday, April 27th during business hours. Sign up for a play testing slot with the link below. Again, quantities are limited so if you sign up for a time slot later in the week we may have reduced quantities, so sign up early if you can!
Where: The Lynchburg location of Hill City Music, 20436 Lynchburg Hwy Suite J in Lynchburg VA 24502. Please note our Roanoke location will not have step up instruments on site.
Why: If you or a family member is looking to improve their instrument this event can be a great way to play test several upgraded models all in one visit! Something that you would likely need to go to Richmond or Washington DC to do on most days of the year!

Instrument specialists will be on sight to help you find the best step up instrument for you!
Special financing will be available for those who wish to purchase a step up instrument while attending the event!
